The kit is designed for use with thermal transfer labels on Zebra, Sato, or Datamax brand printers and includes Datamax thermal transfer ribbons that are wax-based, measuring 3-1/2" x 1181', with 24 ribbons per case. Key features include Printhead Saver® technology and an anti-static back coating, both of which are intended to extend the life of thermal printheads. The ribbon's performance characteristics enable printing at lower temperatures and faster speeds, thereby reducing printhead costs and overall energy consumption. It delivers dark, high-definition barcodes—both rotated and non-rotated—along with text, logos, and symbols, while being durable and smudge-resistant. Additionally, the ribbon's high sensitivity allows for lower print temperatures, and it can print at higher speeds of up to 12 inches per second (IPS). The compatible printer type is Datamax.
