The kit is designed for use with thermal transfer labels on Zebra, SATO, or Datamax brand printers and includes Zebra thermal transfer ribbons, wax, measuring 4-5/16" x 1476', with 24 ribbons per case. Key features include a Printhead Saver® and anti-static back coating to extend the life of thermal printheads, allowing for enhanced ribbon performance characteristics that permit printing at lower temperatures and faster speeds. This results in reduced printhead costs and lower overall energy usage. The ribbons deliver dark, high-definition rotated and non-rotated barcodes, text, logos, and symbols that are durable and smudge resistant, with high sensitivity enabling lower print temperatures and the capability to print at speeds of up to 12 inches per second. The printer type specified for optimal use is Zebra.
