This thermal transfer ribbon kit is designed for use with Zebra, Sato, or Datamax brand printers and includes Zebra thermal transfer ribbons made of wax, sized at 6" x 1476', with 12 ribbons per case. Key features comprise a Printhead Saver® and anti-static back coating that work together to extend the life of thermal printheads. The ribbon's performance characteristics enable printing at lower temperatures and faster speeds, which contributes to reduced printhead costs and lower overall energy consumption. It produces dark, high-definition rotated and non-rotated barcodes, text, logos, and symbols, while also being durable and smudge-resistant. The ribbons are highly sensitive, allowing for lower print temperatures, and capable of printing at higher speeds of up to 12 inches per second (IPS). The specified printer type for optimal compatibility is Zebra.
