The Squids® web lanyard is designed to tether tools weighing up to 5 lbs (2.3 kg), preventing dropped or falling objects on the job. Available in lengths of 12 in (30 cm) or 24 in (61 cm), it minimizes fall distance in the event of a drop, while keeping tools statically tethered to belts, pouches, bags, and other storage locations. Constructed from heavy-duty, single-length, non-shock absorbing webbing, the lanyard reduces snag hazards and tangles. It features a captive eye design with manual-locking, dual swiveling screw-gate carabiners that securely tether tools and predict load direction, preventing the lanyard from sliding into the carabiner gate. The swiveling carabiners also avoid binding and tangling when used with rotating tools, such as screwdrivers. This third-party certified tool tether meets the ANSI/ISEA 121-2023 standard, with a maximum capacity of 5 lbs (2.3 kg) and a 2:1 safety factor.
