The science workstation is designed to meet the needs of teachers, with input from educators to ensure a safe and secure classroom environment where all students face the instructor. The workstation features a large work surface measuring 46"D x 88"W, constructed from chemical-resistant phenolic resin, which holds a solid epoxy sink and two combination cold water and gas fixtures. Additionally, data and electrical outlets are conveniently located on the side of the unit, and the cabinets provide locked storage space. Side-mounted hooks are included to keep book bags off the floor, and the units are finished with a chemical-resistant, eco-friendly UV finish. The workstation includes two GFI AC duplex outlets and is also available with a flat top option (without sink or fixtures). It is compact enough to accommodate multiple units in smaller classrooms and is easy to assemble. The overall dimensions are 88"L x 46"W x 36"H, with a weight of 503 lbs. Constructed from 3/4" phenolic resin surface with solid oak and oak veneers, the workstation is designed for four students to work collaboratively. The workstation is SEFA compliant and MAS certified green by Diversified Woodcrafts Inc. Finishing touches include rubber base molding, full cabinet doors with locks, and adjustable shelves, along with a sink measuring 12"W x 8"L x 6"D.
