The Bisley® Extreme Cold Collection by PIP® features high-performance materials designed for advanced thermal protection against severe cold climate hazards. This collection, including jackets, bibs, and coveralls, incorporates DuPont™ Sorona® Aura multi-layered insulation, delivering warmth essential for comfort and efficiency, even in temperatures as low as -51°F (-46°C). The kit is constructed from waterproof polyester ripstop 300D with PU coating and contains 20.26oz of multi-layer insulation, featuring 10.62oz of Sorona® Aura insulation. Key attributes include heavy-duty adjustable elastic shoulder straps with buckle closure, double-layered knees for enhanced durability, long side leg vents with zippers and press snap closures, twin chest zip pockets, two front angled pockets, and reflective double hoop taping on the lower leg. Moreover, it provides 50+ UPF sun protection. Although the apparel is not compliant when worn alone, it meets Class 3 requirements when combined with Class 2 apparel. ANSI Class E applies to retro-reflective equipped pants or shorts designed for use with either Class 2 or Class 3 tops, thus rating the ensemble as performance Class 3. This collection also promotes an extended life as it is reusable and launderable, reducing costs and minimizing waste to help lessen environmental impact.
