The SC Preferred 4 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with Wire Decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves provide four-sided access and are adjustable at 1" increments for adaptability. The kit includes wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while facilitating sprinkler water flow for enhanced fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the shelving, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway.
