The SC Preferred 5 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, providing adaptable storage with four-side access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, enhancing fire safety. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips needed.
