The Supercombo® Open End features specially designed grooves that direct wrench force away from fastener corners, while the Supertorque™ box opening design allows for the application of higher torque without rounding or deforming hex fastener points. This tool meets or exceeds aerospace specification AS 954 for 12 point fasteners to provide accurate torque/tension relationship for precision applications. It can be used on all common hex fasteners with considerable advantage over conventional box end wrenches, increasing hand tool flexibility and economy. The box and open end openings are identical, and no contact is made at the corners, with wrenching forces placed on the flat surfaces behind the points. This kit includes all necessary components for efficient use and is certified for compliance with industry standards.
