Features include the SuperCombo® Open End with specially designed grooves to direct wrench force away from fastener corners, and the SuperTorque™ box opening design allowing application of higher torque without rounding or deforming hex fastener points. No contact is made at the corners, with wrenching forces placed on the flat surfaces behind the points. This can be used on all common hex (6 point) fasteners, providing considerable advantage over conventional box end wrenches to increase hand tool flexibility and economy.
