The SuperCombo® open end wrench included in this kit has specially designed grooves that direct wrench force away from fastener corners, while the SuperTorque™ box opening design allows for higher torque without rounding or deforming hex fastener points. The wrench meets or exceeds aerospace specification AS 954 for 12 point fasteners (as defined by AS 870), providing an accurate torque/tension relationship for precision application. It can be used on all common hex (6 point) fasteners with considerable advantage over conventional box end wrenches, increasing hand tool flexibility and economy. The box and open end openings are identical. The package includes the wrench and specifications meet industry standards for quality and performance.
