The Supercombo® Open End wrench features specially designed grooves that direct wrench force away from fastener corners, while the Supertorque™ box opening design allows for higher torque application without rounding or deforming hex fastener points. Meeting or exceeding aerospace specification AS 954 for 12 point fasteners, this wrench provides an accurate torque/tension relationship for precision applications. It can be used on all common hex (6 point) fasteners with considerable advantage over conventional box end wrenches, increasing hand tool flexibility and economy. The box and open end openings are identical, ensuring no contact at the corners and placing wrenching forces on flat surfaces behind the points.
