The Supercombo® open end includes specially designed grooves that direct wrench force away from fastener corners, while the Supertorque™ box opening design allows for higher torque application without rounding or deforming hex fastener points by placing wrenching forces on the flat surfaces behind the points. Meeting or exceeding aerospace specification AS 954 for 12 point fasteners, this set provides an accurate torque/tension relationship for precision application. It can be used on all common hex (6 point) fasteners with considerable advantage over conventional box end wrenches, increasing hand tool flexibility and economy. Both the box and open end openings are identical, providing versatility.
