This kit includes 15 wrenches in sizes 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19mm. The wrenches feature SUPERTORQUE® open end with specially designed grooves that direct wrench force away from fastener corners. The SUPERTORQUE™ box opening design allows for the application of higher torque without rounding or deforming hex fastener points, with no contact made at the corners. Instead, wrenching forces are placed on the flat surfaces behind the points. Meeting or exceeding aerospace specification AS 954 for 12-point fasteners, these wrenches provide an accurate torque/tension relationship for precision application. They may be used on all common hex (6-point) fasteners with considerable advantage over conventional box end wrenches, increasing both hand tool flexibility and economy. The box and open end openings are identical.
