The SuperCombo® open end features specially designed grooves to direct wrench force away from fastener corners, while the SuperTorque™ box opening design allows higher torque application without rounding or deforming hex fastener points. No contact is made at the corners, placing wrenching forces on the flat surfaces behind the points. This kit meets aerospace specification AS 954 for 12 point fasteners and can be used on all common hex (6 point) fasteners. The box and open end openings are identical, providing increased hand tool flexibility and economy. Dimensions and specifications comply with AS 870, ensuring accurate torque/tension relationships for precision application.
