The CX199IN is a commercial tankless water heater designed for intense applications such as restaurants, hotels, and multifamily residences, featuring industry-leading thermal efficiency and a compact combustion design for easier installation, enhanced operational performance, and serviceability. This model supports indoor to outdoor installation conversion using the Versa-Vent outdoor vent cap #RXOVC (sold separately), and includes Smart Sense gas valve technology that automatically adjusts to natural gas or propane without requiring a conversion kit. It has a maximum temperature of 185°F and offers smart connectivity via Bluetooth to devices through the Rinnai® Central app for quick setup and registration. The heater is Smart Circ intelligent recirculation capable with the installation of a pump or pump accessory and includes a quick flush feature for simplified system maintenance. It utilizes industry-leading 2" venting capable of up to 75 feet. Additional features include a digital display, energy usage tracking, freeze protection, overheat protection, temperature pressure relief valve, and wall-mount design.
