The electric HydroStation Max 100 waterer from Behlen Country is designed to keep livestock hydrated in extreme conditions, featuring four times the insulation of competing models. It is constructed from corrosion-resistant poly with stainless steel hardware for durability against heavy use and harsh weather. The waterer includes an industry-exclusive self-cleaning valve body that manages hard water deposits and calcium buildup without additional filtration. Its premium poly construction prevents rust, corrosion, warping, or denting. A safe, low-wattage infrared heat pad is isolated from the drinking basin, automatically activating when water temperatures fall below 42°F and shutting off above 73°F, providing low-maintenance automatic temperature control. The newly redesigned non-siphoning float valve prevents backflow, ensuring a safe water supply and performs best with pressure lines between 25-55 p.s.i. Installation is simplified with included anchor points, and the unit offers superior UV protection to maintain color and structural integrity over years of outdoor use. Cleaning is easy due to a removable drain plug for quick draining. The powerful 220-watt heat pad efficiently heats both the waterer and supply line, with replacement heat pads available separately (Item #2198175S). A high-pressure regulator is required for pressures above 55 p.s.i., and a low-pressure regulator is needed for pressures below 25 p.s.i.
