The Frontier gates from Behlen Country are designed to adapt to various livestock needs, including horses, cattle, and smaller animals, providing reliable containment for pastures, yards, gardens, and driveways. The gate features a durable outer frame and top support bar made from 1-5/8" diameter, high-quality steel tubing, with fully welded 360° welds that enhance strength and prevent moisture intrusion. The 2" x 4" wire mesh design prevents smaller animals from slipping through while maintaining good visibility. These gates are cost-effective and suitable for small animal and low-density livestock containment, available in a variety of sizes, colors, and finishes. Wire-filled gates are not recommended for heavy-crowding applications, and all gates are manufactured 4" shorter than the listed width to allow space for hardware, installation, and clearance. Adjustable bolt-on hinges allow for easy mounting on either the left or right side, making them ideal for pairing gates or accommodating unique installation situations. Composite caps provide a smooth finish and protect the tubing from moisture, insects, grit, and grime. Suggested uses include small animal containment (sheep, goats, miniature breeds), horse paddocks and dry lots, cattle pastures (beef and dairy cattle of various sizes), poultry runs, and pet protection.
