Behlen Country's Frontier Max gates are constructed with heavy 16-gauge steel tubing in both the frame and top support bar, offering outstanding strength for demanding livestock areas. The gates feature fully welded 360° joints and seams to enhance durability by preventing moisture intrusion and adding stability. They include a 2" x 4" ultra-heavy 5-gauge wire mesh that prevents smaller animals from escaping while maintaining good visibility. Each gate comes ready to hang with extra-strong hardware, including 3/4" x 12" bolt hooks designed to drill through posts to prevent sagging and allow for easy adjustment and leveling. All gates are 4" shorter than the listed width to accommodate hardware, installation, and clearance. Composite caps provide a smooth finish that keeps moisture, bugs, grit, and grime out of the tubing. Adjustable bolt-on hinges enable mounting from either the left or right side, facilitating pairing or adaptation to unique installation needs.
