The Homesteader Gate from Behlen Country features a graduated wire mesh design with a long-lasting galvanized finish, ideal for pasture containment for a variety of livestock including hogs, piglets, sheep, goats, and farm dogs, as well as for garden boundaries and property or driveway gates. The outer frame and top support bar are constructed from 1-5/8" diameter, heavy-gauge steel tubing for durability, and all joints and seams are fully welded with 360° welds to prevent moisture intrusion and increase strength and stability. The gate includes adjustable bolt-on hinges that can be mounted from either the left or right side, making it adaptable to different installation situations or pairing with other gates. All gates are 4" shorter than the listed width to allow space for hardware, installation, and proper clearance. Composite caps protect the tubing by keeping out moisture, bugs, grit, and grime, while the gate comes ready to hang with included 5/8" x 6" screw hooks for easy installation. The 6-gauge wire mesh grid adds extra weight and security compared to other graduated wire mesh gates on the market. This gate is suitable for hog enclosures, piglet nurseries with tighter bottom spacing, mixed small livestock pens, dog runs, garden boundaries, kid goat pens, and as an attractive pasture or property gate.
