The AgStar Max Collared Hinge Gates from Behlen Country are engineered for maximum durability and security in high-pressure livestock environments. Constructed with heavier gauge, high-quality 2" diameter steel tubing and fully welded with 360° welds on all joints and seams, the gates ensure strength, stability, and moisture resistance. Gates 8' wide and larger feature vertical Z-bracing for added structural integrity. The powder-coat finish extends the lifespan of the gate, while composite caps prevent moisture, bugs, grit, and grime from entering the tubing. Designed with a collared-hinge system for tamper-resistant protection, these gates offer enhanced security by making it virtually impossible for animals or intruders to remove the gate from its hinges. Each gate is 4" shorter than the listed width to accommodate hardware, installation, and proper clearance. Assembly is simplified by including all mounting hardware, and the welded chain latch with an additional snap chain ensures secure closure. These Level 3 maximum confinement gates are suitable for cattle handling, horse paddocks, breeding pen entrances, and feedlot sections, providing reliable containment and easy access control.
