Behlen Country's Frontier Max gates are the heaviest wire mesh gates available, engineered for demanding livestock areas by combining ruggedness and superior performance. These gates are crafted with heavy 16-gauge steel tubing in both the frame and top support bar, providing exceptional strength in high-stress applications. All joints and seams feature 360° welds, enhancing moisture resistance and increasing structural stability. The gate includes a 2" x 4" ultra-heavy 5-gauge wire mesh that prevents smaller animals from escaping while maintaining good visibility. They come ready to hang with 3/4" x 12" bolt hooks designed to drill through a post, preventing sagging and allowing easy adjustment and leveling. All gates are made 4" shorter than the listed width to accommodate hardware, installation, and clearance. Composite caps provide a finished look while protecting against moisture, bugs, grit, and grime intrusion. Adjustable bolt-on hinges allow mounting from either left or right sides, making installation flexible. The gates are suitable for equine enclosures, multipurpose farm gates capable of containing horses as well as smaller animals, secure small animal containment such as sheep, goats, or miniature breeds, poultry runs for chickens or ducks, and pet protection areas for energetic dogs and other pets.
