The Homesteader Gate from Behlen Country features a graduated wire mesh design for ideal pasture containment of both large and small livestock, with a long-lasting galvanized finish providing durable protection for driveways, fields, yards, gardens, and more. The outer frame and top support bar are made from 1-5/8" diameter, heavy-gauge steel tubing, and all joints and seams are fully welded with 360° welds to enhance strength, stability, and moisture resistance. The gate includes composite caps that prevent moisture, bugs, grit, and grime from entering the tubing, and features adjustable bolt-on hinges allowing easy mounting from the left or right side to accommodate paired gates or unique installation needs. All gates are 4" shorter than the listed width for hardware and installation clearance, and the package includes 5/8" x 6" screw hooks for ready-to-hang installation. The 6-gauge wire mesh grid adds weight and security compared to other graduated wire mesh gates.
