Behlen Country's Frontier Max gates are the heaviest wire mesh gates on the market, designed for demanding livestock areas, combining exceptional strength with superior performance. Constructed from heavy 16-gauge steel tubing for both the frame and top support bar, these gates provide superior strength under high-stress applications. All joints and seams are fully welded with 360° welds, enhancing strength, stability, and moisture resistance. The gates feature a 2" x 4" wire mesh made of ultra-heavy 5-gauge wire, which prevents smaller animals from slipping through while offering good visibility. Each gate comes ready to hang with extra strong hardware, including 3/4" x 12" bolt hooks designed to drill through posts for preventing sagging and allowing easy adjustment and leveling. Gates are manufactured 4" shorter than the listed width to accommodate hardware, installation, and proper clearance. Composite caps provide a smooth finish that helps keep moisture, bugs, grit, and grime out of the tubing. The adjustable bolt-on hinges allow the gates to be mounted from either the left or right side, facilitating pairing gates or adapting to unique installation situations.
