Behlen Country's Frontier Max gates are the heaviest wire mesh gates on the market, designed for demanding livestock areas by combining superior strength with rugged durability. They are crafted with heavy 16-gauge steel tubing in both the frame and top support bar to withstand high-stress applications, and all joints and seams feature 360° welds to prevent moisture intrusion and enhance strength and stability. The gates incorporate a 2" x 4" ultra-heavy 5-gauge wire mesh that prevents smaller animals from escaping while maintaining good visibility. These heavy-duty gates come ready to hang, including extra strong hardware with 3/4" x 12" bolt hooks designed to drill fully through a post to prevent sagging and allow for easy adjustment and leveling. Gates are made 4" shorter than the listed width to accommodate hardware installation and proper clearance. Composite caps provide a smooth finish while keeping moisture, bugs, grit, and grime out of the tubing. Adjustable bolt-on hinges enable mounting from either the left or right side, making the gates suitable for paired setups or unique installation requirements. Front Max gates are suitable for equine enclosures, multi-purpose farm use for various livestock, small animal containment such as sheep and goats, poultry runs, pet protection, and garden applications.
