The Frontier Gates from Behlen Country are designed for adaptable livestock containment suitable for horses, cattle, and smaller animals. The kit includes gates featuring an outer frame and top support bar made from 1-5/8" diameter high-quality steel tubing for durability and daily use. Constructed with 360° welds, the fully welded design enhances strength and moisture resistance. The gate includes 2" x 4" wire mesh to prevent smaller animals from escaping while maintaining good visibility. These gates are cost-effective for small animal and low-density livestock containment and come in a wide variety of sizes, colors, and finishes to suit different property needs. Wire-filled gates are not recommended for heavy-crowding applications, and all gates are 4" shorter than the listed width to allow space for hardware installation and proper clearance. The gates feature adjustable bolt-on hinges, allowing mounting from either the left or right side, facilitating pairing or unique installation situations. Composite caps provide a smooth finish that helps prevent moisture, bugs, grit, and grime from entering the tubing. Suggested uses include containment for small livestock such as sheep, goats, or miniature breeds, horse paddocks and dry lots, cattle pastures for various ages and sizes in beef and dairy cattle, poultry runs for chickens, ducks, and other fowl, and pet protection to establish secure boundaries.
