The 20V MAX XR® brushless cable stripper is a powered tool designed for cleanly and consistently stripping electrical cables without an exposed knife, capable of quickly stripping copper and aluminum cables from #6 AWG to 750 MCM CU and 900 MCM AL. It includes quick-release bushings and a reference chart to accommodate various cable diameters and features a depth gauge that consistently strips cables up to 4 inches. The tool offers a variable speed trigger with reverse for speed control and an adjustable onboard LED light for illumination in dark or low-light situations. The E-Clutch™ system helps maintain control if the tool becomes jammed, and it uses DeWALT® bushings compatible with Greenlee® and Ripley® bushings. With the appropriate bushing, the cable stripper works on both THHN and XHHW copper and aluminum cables, covering sizes from 6 AWG to 750 MCM CU and 900 MCM AL. The kit includes one DCE151 cable stripper. Battery and charger are sold separately.
