The copper tubing cutter (DCE154) is designed for a variety of mechanical and plumbing applications, capable of cutting 1/4 in. to 1-1/4 in. Types K, L, and M hard and soft copper tubing or pipe, including 3/8 in. outer diameter tubing for HVACR applications, without swapping parts. It delivers a best-in-class cut capacity range and maximizes productivity with up to 550 cuts per charge. This tool features an auto-size adjust cutting head mechanism for cutting different pipe sizes without part changes, an innovative pivoting head with 90° rotation for access to a wide range of cutting angles, and a variable speed trigger for advanced user control that matches speed to the application. It cuts copper tubing as fast as 1.2 seconds and includes durable corrosion-resistant cutting components to withstand tough jobsite environments. The integrated automatic onboard LED has on/off control to illuminate dim work areas, and the tool is Tool Connect™ Chip Ready™ for asset management and tool location when paired with the DeWalt Site Manager™ app (DeWalt tag sold separately).
