Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 371 is a 1.8 mil industrial grade polypropylene film packaging tape with a synthetic rubber adhesive designed to provide roll to roll consistency to increase productivity and improve unit cost. It is flexible and conformable under stress, making it ideal for general industrial packaging applications including box sealing, splicing, and more. The tape easily unwinds and dispenses with manual dispensers or 3M-Matic™ case sealers, and resists abrasion, moisture, chemicals, and scuffing for long-lasting performance. It securely adheres to a variety of surfaces during high-speed automated packaging, provides a strong and dependable hold through its polypropylene backing and tough rubber adhesive, and stays in place around carton edges due to its high conformability. The tape delivers consistent and smooth dispensing to reduce product waste, offers a good edge tear resistance, and resists splitting. It meets FDA guidelines for indirect food contact and is recommended for use on regular slotted containers (RSC) weighing up to 70 lbs., suitable for manual or automatic carton sealing.
