The kit is manufactured to meet NIST Federal Specification ASME B89.1.9 - 2002 and includes inch gage blocks with tolerances on length held to ± 0.00005". It comes with a certificate of calibration traceable to NIST and is supplied in a protective case. The set contains a total of 36 blocks: 1 block of 0.050", 9 blocks ranging from 0.1001" to 0.1009" in 0.0001" increments, 9 blocks from 0.101" to 0.109" in 0.001" increments, 9 blocks from 0.110" to 0.190" in 0.010" increments, 5 blocks from 0.100" to 0.500" in 0.100" increments, and 3 blocks measuring 1", 2", and 3" respectively.
