NEMA 12 (IP54) Cabinet Cooler® Systems are dust-tight and oil-tight, designed for general industrial environments without liquids or corrosives. These dirt, dust, and oil-resistant thermostat control systems efficiently operate by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, using a standard adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). The compact cooler installs in minutes through a standard electrical knockout while maintaining the NEMA rating of the electronic enclosure. The package includes cabinet coolers that utilize a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts) with quiet operation and dimensions suitable for mounting in electrical knockouts. The systems stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity without CFCs, eliminate fans and filters, and provide washdown protection. Typical applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. The cabinet cooler systems are UL listed, CE compliant, and comply with OSHA’s safety requirements.
