The Dirt, Dust, and Oil Resistant NEMA 12 (IP54) continuous operation Cabinet Cooler® systems are designed for constant cooling and positive purge of electronic control panels. Each continuous operation system includes a Cabinet Cooler, cold air distribution kit, and filter, with sound levels measured using an optional cold muffler. Utilizing a vortex tube, EXAIR® Cabinet Coolers produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts, offering a compact solution that installs in minutes through a standard electrical knockout while maintaining the NEMA enclosure rating. These units are UL listed, CE compliant, and meet OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and the noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC). Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts), and they are suitable for applications such as programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. Additional features include quiet operation, no CFCs, no moving parts requiring maintenance, mounting in standard electrical knockouts, prevention of nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, dirt contamination, and elimination of fans, filters, and lost production. All sound level measurements are taken at 3 feet away. The product includes a warranty as specified by EXAIR standards.
