Dirt, dust, and oil resistant NEMA 12 (IP54) continuous operation Cabinet Cooler® systems are designed for constant cooling and positive purge of electronic control panels. These systems include a Cabinet Cooler, cold air distribution kit, and filter. Sound levels are measured with the optional cold muffler installed. EXAIR® Cabinet Coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without any moving parts, unlike freon-based air conditioners. The compact Cabinet Cooler installs in minutes through a standard electrical knockout, maintaining the NEMA rating of the electronic enclosure. All Cabinet Coolers are UL listed and CE compliant. Suitable applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. Key features include low cost, cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts), quiet operation, quick installation, temperature and humidity stabilization, no CFCs, maintenance-free operation due to no moving parts, compatibility with standard electrical knockouts, prevention of nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, dirt contamination, and elimination of fans and filters, lost production, and provision of washdown protection.
