NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service, featuring a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the NEMA integrity of the electronic enclosure. Continuous Operation Cabinet Cooler® systems are recommended when constant cooling and constant positive purge are desirable. These NEMA 4 cabinet coolers come in various cooling capacities for large and small control panels and include a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure, along with a cold air distribution kit to direct air for circulation or to hot spots. Sound levels are measured with an optional cold muffler installed. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant. Utilizing a vortex tube powered by compressed air with no moving parts, EXAIR® cabinet coolers can be installed through a standard electrical knockout in minutes, offering a low cost and reliable method of cooling and purging electronic control panels. They support applications such as programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. These compact coolers have cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts), operate quietly, stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity, contain no CFCs, prevent nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, and dirt contamination, eliminate fans and filters, and provide washdown protection.
