The Dirt, dust, and oil resistant NEMA 12 (IP54) continuous operation Cabinet Cooler® systems are designed for constant cooling and positive purge of electronic control panels. These systems include a Cabinet Cooler, cold air distribution kit, and filter, with sound level measured using an optional cold muffler. Unlike freon-based air conditioners, EXAIR® Cabinet Coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. The compact unit installs through a standard electrical knockout in minutes while maintaining the NEMA rating of the enclosure. All Cabinet Coolers are UL listed and CE compliant. They are suitable for applications including programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. Key features include low cost, cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts), quiet operation, stabilizing enclosure temperature and humidity, no CFCs, no moving parts requiring maintenance, mounting in standard electrical knockouts, prevention of nuisance tripping and heat damage, elimination of fans and filters, reduction of lost production, prevention of circuit drift and dirt contamination, and providing washdown protection. EXAIR® Cabinet Cooler systems comply with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and meet EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) noise limits.
