The NEMA 12 (IP54) continuous operation Cabinet Cooler® systems are designed to provide constant cooling and positive purge of electronic control panels, featuring a Cabinet Cooler, cold air distribution kit, and filter. The system produces cold air from compressed air using a vortex tube with no moving parts and can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout while maintaining the enclosure's NEMA rating. Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts) with sound levels measured at 3 feet away, using an optional cold muffler. These UL listed and CE compliant units comply with OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and the EU Machinery Directive noise limitations (2006/42/EC). Designed for applications including programmable controllers, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, CCTV cameras, and electronic scales, the Cabinet Cooler offers low cost, quiet operation, stabilization of enclosure temperature and humidity, with no CFCs, fans, or filters, and provides washdown protection while eliminating heat damage, nuisance tripping, dirt contamination, and circuit drift. The systems are maintenance-free, mounting in standard electrical knockouts, and aimed at preventing lost production. They carry a warranty according to manufacturer terms and are designated as conflict mineral free products.
