NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash-resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service, incorporating a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the NEMA integrity of the electronic enclosure. Continuous Operation Cabinet Cooler® systems are recommended when constant cooling and constant positive purge are desirable, available in many cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts) for large and small control panels. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure and a cold air distribution kit to direct air for circulation or onto hot spots. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant and feature a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts. They can be installed through a standard electrical knockout and provide a low-cost, reliable way of cooling and purging electronic control panels.
