NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, and splash resistant for both indoor and outdoor service, incorporating a low pressure relief valve for the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the NEMA integrity of the electronic enclosure. These Continuous Operation Cabinet Cooler® systems are recommended for applications requiring constant cooling and positive purge, and are available in various cooling capacities for both large and small control panels, providing cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts). Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure and a cold air distribution kit for directing air circulation or targeting hot spots. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant. Utilizing a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts, they can be installed through standard electrical knockouts within minutes, representing a low-cost, reliable solution for cooling and purging electronic control panels without CFCs or Freon. Applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
