NEMA 4 (IP66) cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service, incorporating a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating, maintaining the NEMA integrity of the electronic enclosure. Continuous Operation Cabinet Cooler systems are recommended for applications requiring constant cooling and constant positive purge. These cabinet coolers are available in various cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts) suitable for large and small control panels. Each system includes a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering the enclosure and a cold air distribution kit to direct air for circulation or to hot spots. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant and comply with OSHA's safety requirements and the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC). Using a vortex tube, these coolers produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts, can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout, and provide a compact, quiet solution that stabilizes enclosure temperature and humidity without CFCs, stops nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, dirt contamination, and eliminates the need for fans and filters.
