NEMA 12 (IP54) cabinet cooler® systems are designed for general industrial environments free from liquids or corrosives, providing dust-tight and oil-tight protection. These dirt, dust, and oil-resistant systems feature a thermostat control that efficiently operates the cooler by activating it only when internal temperatures reach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), and the sound level is measured with an optional cold muffler installed. The compact cabinet cooler can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical knockout while maintaining the NEMA rating of the electronic enclosure. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, offering a reliable, low-cost method to cool and purge electronic control panels. The system uses a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts. Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts), and the units are quiet, stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity, contain no CFCs, require no maintenance due to the lack of moving parts, and eliminate fans and filters to prevent nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, and lost production while providing protection from dirt and dust. These coolers mount in standard electrical knockouts and are suitable for applications such as programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
