NEMA 4X thermostat control systems efficiently operate cabinet coolers by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat control system includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). These NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are constructed of stainless steel suitable for food service and corrosive environments and use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. The compact cooler installs easily through a standard electrical knockout and features a low-pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust; this valve seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain NEMA 4 enclosure integrity. Available in multiple cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts), the systems are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, suitable for indoor/outdoor service, UL listed, and CE compliant. They stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity, eliminate fans and filters, prevent circuit drift and dirt contamination, stop nuisance tripping and heat damage, and provide quiet, maintenance-free operation with no CFCs or moving parts.
