NEMA 4X thermostat control systems efficiently operate cabinet coolers by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat control systems include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are constructed of stainless steel suitable for food service and corrosive environments. EXAIR® cabinet coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts and can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout. These NEMA 4X (IP66) Cabinet Cooler® systems, which are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service, incorporate a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the NEMA 4 enclosure's integrity. Available in a range of cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts) for small to large control panels, all cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant. They provide washdown protection and stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity while eliminating fans, filters, and CFCs, operating quietly and maintenance-free due to no moving parts. They mount in standard electrical knockouts and prevent nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, dirt contamination, and lost production. Typical applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cooled laser housings, and electronic scales.
