NEMA 4X thermostat control systems operate cabinet coolers efficiently by activating them only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. These standard thermostat control systems include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). The NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are constructed of stainless steel, suitable for food service and corrosive environments. EXAIR® cabinet coolers utilize a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts and can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout. The NEMA 4X (IP66) Cabinet Cooler® systems are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service. They feature a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that closes and seals when the cooler is inactive, maintaining NEMA 4 enclosure integrity. Available in various cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts) for large and small control panels, all cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant. They are used in programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. The system is low cost, quiet, maintenance-free with no moving parts, provides washdown protection, stabilizes enclosure temperature and humidity, eliminates fans and filters, prevents nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, dirt contamination, and lost production while maintaining NEMA 4 integrity (IP66).
