NEMA 4X thermostat control systems efficiently operate cabinet coolers by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. These standard thermostat control systems include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). The NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are constructed of stainless steel suitable for food service and corrosive environments and incorporate a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. The compact cabinet cooler installs in minutes through a standard electrical knockout and features a low-pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust, which closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of the NEMA 4 enclosure. Available in various cooling capacities, these units can provide cooling up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts), and are quiet, maintenance-free, and free of CFCs. They are UL listed and CE compliant, dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service. Typical applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. The system stabilizes enclosure temperature and humidity, stops nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, dirt contamination, and eliminates the need for fans, filters, and lost production.
