NEMA 4X thermostat control systems efficiently operate cabinet coolers by activating them only when internal temperatures near critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads due to environmental or seasonal changes. The standard system includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C). These NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are constructed of stainless steel, suitable for food service and corrosive environments. EXAIR® cabinet coolers use a vortex tube to generate cold air from compressed air without moving parts. The compact cooler installs quickly through a standard electrical knockout. The NEMA 4X (IP66) Cabinet Cooler® systems are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. They feature a low-pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust, which seals when the cooler is off to preserve NEMA 4 enclosure integrity. Available in various cooling capacities, they can service large and small control panels with cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts). All are UL listed and CE compliant. Typical applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
