NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and suitable for indoor and outdoor service, incorporating a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4X enclosure. Constructed of stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments, these coolers are available in various cooling capacities suitable for large and small control panels. Continuous operation Cabinet Cooler® systems include a cabinet cooler, cold air distribution kit, and filter, offering constant cooling and positive purge. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, providing a low-cost, reliable method to cool and purge electronic control panels. The systems use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air without moving parts and can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout. Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts). The coolers are quiet, stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity, contain no CFCs, require no maintenance due to the absence of moving parts, prevent nuisance tripping and heat damage, eliminate fans and filters, reduce production loss, stop circuit drift, prevent dirt contamination, and provide washdown protection. They are applicable for programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
