NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and suitable for indoor and outdoor service. They incorporate a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust, which closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4X enclosure. Constructed of stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments, these cabinet coolers are available in many cooling capacities suitable for large and small control panels, providing cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts). NEMA 4X continuous operation cabinet cooler systems, which include a cabinet cooler, cold air distribution kit, and filter, are recommended for applications requiring constant cooling and constant positive purge. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, incorporating a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts, allowing for maintenance-free operation. The compact cooler can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout. Applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales.
