NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, corrosion resistant, and suitable for indoor/outdoor service. They incorporate a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust, which closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a NEMA 4X enclosure. Constructed of stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments, these coolers are available in many cooling capacities for large and small control panels. The continuous operation Cabinet Cooler systems include a cabinet cooler, cold air distribution kit, and filter, and are recommended when constant cooling and constant positive purge are desirable. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, offering a low-cost, reliable way to cool and purge electronic control panels. EXAIR® cabinet coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts and can be installed through a standard electrical knockout in minutes. Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts). Features include quiet operation, temperature and humidity stabilization inside the enclosure, no CFCs, maintenance-free design with no moving parts, prevention of nuisance tripping and heat damage, elimination of fans, filters, lost production, circuit drift, and dirt contamination, and provision of washdown protection.
