NEMA 4X (IP66) cabinet coolers are designed to be dust-tight, oil-tight, splash resistant, and corrosion resistant for indoor and outdoor service, incorporating a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and cabinet air exhaust that closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of the NEMA 4X enclosure. Constructed of stainless steel for food service and corrosive environments, these coolers are available in various cooling capacities suitable for large and small control panels. Continuous operation Cabinet Cooler® systems include a cabinet cooler, cold air distribution kit, and filter, recommended when constant cooling and positive purge are required. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, providing a low-cost, reliable method to cool and purge electronic control panels by using a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. The compact cooler installs easily through a standard electrical knockout. Cooling capacities reach up to 5,600 BTU/hr (1,641 watts) and the coolers operate quietly, stabilizing enclosure temperature and humidity without CFCs, requiring no moving parts or maintenance, and preventing nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, dirt contamination, and eliminating the need for fans and filters while providing washdown protection.
