NEMA 12 (IP54) Cabinet Cooler® systems are designed for dust-tight and oil-tight protection in general industrial environments without the presence of liquids or corrosives. These dirt, dust, and oil resistant thermostat control systems operate efficiently by activating the cooler only when internal temperatures near critical levels, making them ideal for fluctuating heat loads caused by environmental or seasonal changes. The standard thermostat control includes an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°F (35°C), and sound level is measured with an optional cold muffler installed. The compact NEMA 12 cabinet cooler installs quickly through a standard electrical knockout while maintaining the NEMA rating of the electronic enclosure. All cabinet coolers are UL listed and CE compliant, employing a vortex tube to generate cold air from compressed air with no moving parts, providing a low cost, reliable solution to cool and purge electronic control panels. Applications include programmable controllers, line control cabinets, motor control centers, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centers, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, cool laser housings, and electronic scales. The system offers cooling capacities up to 5,600 BTU/hr. (1,641 watts), operates quietly, stabilizes enclosure temperature and humidity, contains no CFCs, requires no maintenance due to no moving parts, mounts in a standard electrical knockout, and helps prevent nuisance tripping, heat damage, circuit drift, and eliminates fans and filters as well as lost production.
